GIA CERTIFIED NATURAL UNHEATED 2.29CT. OVAL ROYAL BLUE CEYLON SRI LANKA SAPPHIRE. 8.38 x 6.62 x 5.10mm. Medium-dark tone with vivid royal blue saturation. No enhancements or treatments whatsoever.

This sapphire was mined in Sri Lanka and cut in New York. It also includes some very interesting information about sapphire history, mining, and quality grades. The sapphire comes fully certified with a GIA report. It is a very desirable weight 2.29ct. And size (8.38mm x 6.62mm x 5.10mm).

The stone is eye clean with an excellent cut (zero windowing). NSC grades their sapphires' color saturation as faint, very light, light, medium-light, medium, medium-intense, intense, vivid, and dark.

This classification is reserved for the finest quality color saturation, without it becoming overly dark. This gem is everything you want a sapphire to be, and stones of this quality are becoming more and more scarce. It certainly could not be replaced for my list price.
